Miso is a traditional Japanese seasoning made from fermented soybeans with salt and kōji. Add this miso to sauces, butter, hummus, soup bases or use as a glaze for fish and meat. It is also great to add to steamed clams or mussels. Miso is high in protein and rich in vitamins and minerals.
This Buckwheat Brown Butter miso is handmade in small batches by Chef Marc Sheehan, co-founder of Northern Star restaurant.
