My three live "chicken" lobsters were delivered to me professionally by Svenfish on 12/14/2023. When I put them into my dry sink, they were quite active – a good sign! I tried to figure out how long to steam each one (10 minutes to the pound is the rule) but I could not find Sven's documentation of how much they weighed together. I would have divided the total weight by the number of lobsters (three) and figured the steaming for that long. I guessed at a time for the first one, which I steamed alone, and it came out just a bit overcooked. For each of the other two, I reduced the time and they came out more satisfyingly juicier. The texture of the lobster was very true. I would have liked the taste a little sweeter, but remember this is December. My internal de-veining of these homards quietly revealed that they had been out of the ocean longer than I like. Overall, the experience was a good one, and I will repeat as soon as Sven reveals what time of year he can get his lobsters from the ocean to my table in a demonstrably short time.

The lobster was very delicious and so fresh! The amount of lobster was perfect for my family, and it arrived very quickly and on time. Overall enjoyed the lobster very much, and will be ordering again.
