Flounder

Flounder
Wild-caught flounder — mild, delicate, and one of the most accessible premium fish in the ocean.
Flounder is a thin flatfish caught in New England coastal waters — mild, lean, and endlessly versatile. It’s one of the most accessible seafood options: cooks in minutes, costs less than most premium fish, and appeals to almost everyone including people who claim not to like fish. Fresh and never frozen, ours is noticeably sweeter and cleaner than frozen alternatives.
Mild and slightly sweet with a delicate, thin flesh that cooks almost instantly. Light and clean-finishing — perfect for weeknight cooking.
Serving & PortionsThe simplest is often the best: season, dredge lightly in flour, pan-fry in butter for 2 minutes per side until golden and crispy. For stuffed flounder: roll with a crab or shrimp filling and bake at 375°F for 15–18 minutes. It’s one of the most forgiving fish to cook.
