Perfect.
Svenfish has become our go to place for a sashimi/sushi dining at our house. They have the freshest tuna and salmon (safe to consume as sashimi) in the area.
It's a nice little shop with good and personable people at the counter. They let you see the item you ordered to ensure your expectation is met. You can order by delivery but I always chose to pick it up at the store.
We use the tuna and salmon we get here for Hoe-deopbap (Korean raw fish bibimbap) and sashimi.
We used to dine frequently at Japanese/Korean/Chinese restaurants for our sushi fix. But after our first try at Svenfish, I quickly found this to be most cost-friendly option while not compromising on the quality.
Comparing with tuna and salmon prices (per piece) with Bamboo, Sansoogapsan (Korean sushi place inside Burlington Hmart), Fengshui, and Karma, pounde per pound, Svenfish proves to be the most wallet-friendly option.
My excel spreadsheet generated sometime in 2023-early 2024 shows the following:
Bamboo: $3.48 per piece for tuna, $3.33 per piece for salmon
Sansoogapsan: $3.00 per piece for tuna, $3.00 per piece for salmon
Fengshui: $3.50 per piece for tuna, $3.00 per piece for salmon

The tuna tasted fine. However, it was a strange cut. Not what we have received previously.
Fresh, meaty, delicate, and rich. Perfect.
