A sushi experience designed to be shared — perfect for Valentine’s Day or a cozy family night in.
Craft your own rolls using premium, sushi-grade fish and classic accompaniments — fresh, customizable, and best enjoyed together.
Makes: ~8 maki rolls (about ~64 pieces), plus wakame salad, ginger, wasabi, tobiko, and soy sauce.
What’s in the kit

½ lb sushi-grade tuna (skin-off)

½ lb sushi-grade salmon (skin-off)

10 sheets nori

¾ lb sushi rice (1.5 cups)

2 oz seasoned rice vinegar

8 oz wakame seaweed salad

2 oz wasabi powder

4 oz sushi ginger

2 oz tobiko roe

4 soy sauce packets

1 maki su (bamboo rolling mat)
You’ll need at home: a knife + cutting board, 2 cups (475 mL) water, and optional add-ins like cucumber or avocado.
Rice is simple: we include the seasoning — you just cook the rice. Full instructions are in our “How to Make Sushi Rice” guide.
Wasabi (from powder): Mix 1 tsp wasabi powder + 1–1½ tsp cold water into a smooth paste. Let sit 2–3 minutes, then adjust with a few drops of water as needed.

A great kit that resulted in a great dinner! Fresh fish, all the fixings and easy to follow instructions made this a fun experience. We added some miso soup and sake and it was perfect - thank you!
I wish I could give this kit more than five stars – we absolutely loved it. It included everything we needed, and the fish was incredibly fresh and delicious. The portions were generous for two (this could definitely feed three or four people). We would order this again without hesitation!
I enjoyed making this sushi with my partner; the items were delivered fresh and the final product was tasty. We had salmon and swordfish, I believe. However, there were no instructions attached, and we had to watch a YouTube video to understand how to prepare, which is why I docked a star. Nevertheless. this was an incredibly amazing date idea or for a small group, since we made a ton of sushi.
Excellent kit for the home sushi chef! Well supplied kit, no printed instructions available but regardless I wouldn't need them as I prefer the many sushi making tutorials on YouTube! The kit contained two generously cut pieces of fish, one each of salmon and one tuna! Both pieces were of excellent quality for sushi/sashimi! Highly recommended!
