Quick Air Fryer Soy Mustard Salmon
Fish cooks really well in an air fryer! Most fish cooks to their recommended temperatures (145°F) within minutes whether pan-seared, grilled, or steamed. But the magic of the air fryer is the combination of high, direct heat cooking the fish quickly without drying it out and caramelizing the outside, maximizing flavor and texture.
Ingredients:
- 1lb Svenfish Salmon, cut into 4 fillets
- 1/2 cup marinade
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
- Lemon or lime slices, for garnish
To make the marinade:
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons olive oil or sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon mustard
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
Instructions:
-
Whisk together the marinade. Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels and gently coat them with the marinade for 10 minutes. Add to air fryer basket, for additional flavor, top fillets with a bit of salted butter.
-
Set your air fryer to 400°F and cook for 10-15 minutes and remove from basket. Let the fish rest a few minutes and it will continue to cook after removed from the heat.
- Top with sesame seeds and citrus garnish. Serve along with your favorite sides, we recommend rice, veggies, or riced veggies!
