Quantity: One unit is equal to two pounds (35-40) of live mussels in the shell. Please be aware, if a mussel's shell is open, it has died, please discard it. Expect to find a few dead mussels per bag.

The delivery was on time. Consistently fresh with good flavor and consistency, Held up well to spicy tomato and garlic pepper wine sauces. Even leftovers over pasta worked.

Crowd pleaser!

These were a great way to start the party! We dropped the mussels right when everyone arrive and then made a big family style serving for all to enjoy! Only a couple shells remained unopened and the rest were tender and perfect.

I lost a significant number to cracks and no-opens. The remainder were very small, so I had to put two mussels in each half shell for my recipe. Good flavor.
