Nice rich consistency! Love the addition of carrots and potatoes too. The smoked salmon gives the whole dish a delightfully different taste and aroma. I've already bought another container to freeze for later!
I order this salmon pretty regularly and this time was no exception--it's always fresh, delicious, and absolutely perfect eaten in slices with just a little soy. This time I also cooked one piece with miso and honey - it was fantastic. My daughter said she wanted one bite and ate 85 percent of it. This was a very good chowder. I’ve never had a smoked salmon chowder, but this will definitely be purchased again. The potatoes, carrots, and celery were perfectly cooked and the flavor is excellent!

What a delightful end of week surprise to receive black cod and scallops in one Captain's Choice pack! I made miso black cod and scallops with scallions and mushrooms in black bean sauce. Delicious and SO fresh!
Perfect blend of smoky goodness with lots of beans and tuna. Adding this to my fresh fish purchase whenever I go to the Powder Mill store.
So happy to find a good source for fish bones to make broth. A little disappointed that I didn't get any heads in my batch, but maybe next time. Will definitely be ordering again.
This was absolutely perfect - as Svenfish always is. Side of salmon generously served 6 for a dinner and 4 the next night in leftovers. Everyone asked the source it was such perfect texture and taste.
Tasted this in the store and instantly knew I had to bring some home! Sliceable, not as soft as conventional goat cheese...and don't avoid that purple rind, it's amazing! Trust me, you gotta try this cheese!
First of all, the packaging: these are perfectly displayed in a vacuum-sealed bag, which, I’m sure, also keeps them cool and fresh. Tossing a lemon slice in with the shrimp is also a brilliant idea. And the TASTE—!! Part of the fun of eating shrimp lies in that burst of salty ocean flavor….and these do not disappoint. Big, JUICY, meaty cooked shrimp. I can think of SO many ways to use these. But we just end up opening the package and enjoying them as is, with the deeply flavorful cocktail sauce that we also buy from Svenfish. Yum!

We've been ordering Sven for years. Every time I make their salmon, my family says "Great fish tonight!". They think it's my cooking, but I know it's really the quality of Sven fish! I know that for sure, because on the rare occasion I buy fish from another source, I don't get the same reaction! We've had Sven haddock, shrimp, and other items too. Everything is always so fresh and delicious -- and sometimes at a lower price than what you would get at a grocer. Kin of a no-brainer. Do yourself a favor and order from Sven!
